In this one-hour, one-woman performance/talk, Laura explores eleven characters from seven of Shakespeare’s plays. Performing scenes and soliloquies from such plays as A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet, she offers us an in-depth look at some of Shakespeare’s memorable characters. By discussing Shakespeare’s language, poetry and the times in which he lived, she helps her audience gain a better understanding and appreciation for his genius and empathy for us mere mortals.
Shakespeare World, Women & Significant Others is appropriate for teens through seniors. Laura has performed this piece at retirement communities, libraries and schools and is available for bookings at your organization/school. Please email for more information.
